Give your students an exciting summer camp experience where they’ll become engineers, pilots, and programmers in just one week! Using AeroCraft: Build & Fly and AeroCode, campers will assemble, program, and fly drones while learning engineering, computer science, and real-world drone applications in an engaging and interactive environment.

This camp blends engineering and coding for a complete STEM experience! A Certified Drone Instructor will guide students as they design, build, and code drones to complete fun and challenging missions.

🚀 Day 1: Introduction to Drones & Drone Safety (AeroCraft & AeroCode)

  • What are drones, and how do they work?
  • Explore real-world drone applications and STEM careers
  • Hands-on drone safety training and pre-flight checks
  • Introduction to block coding basics for drone flight

🛠️ Day 2: Build & Assemble a Drone (AeroCraft: Build & Fly)

  • Learn about drone components and aerodynamics
  • Assemble the LiteBee Wing Drone using step-by-step instructions
  • Perform troubleshooting and testing before first flight
  • Conduct a manual flight training session

💡 Day 3: Coding Fundamentals & Automated Flight (AeroCode)

  • Introduction to block-based coding using CoDrone EDU or LiteBee Wing
  • Learn how to program a drone to take off, hover, and land
  • Use loops and conditionals to create an automated flight mission
  • First autonomous flight challenge

🌎 Day 4: Engineering & Programming a Drone Mission (AeroCraft & AeroCode)

  • Explore payload delivery and real-world mission applications
  • Campers design and build their own mission scenarios
  • Advanced drone flight challenge using block coding
  • Mid-week troubleshooting session for debugging drone programs

🏆 Day 5: Drone Olympics & Certification Challenge!

  • Camp-wide Drone Flight & Coding Games
  • Teams compete in flight precision, obstacle navigation, and coding challenges
